Amidst the raucous party and irreverent joy of Gato Loco’s 10-piece psycho-mambo group, a different arrangement, and a different sound, has existed for nearly 15 years. Gato Loco de Bajo delivers a cinematic warmth, both mature and fresh. Fronted by dueling Bass Sax & Tuba, delivering a lumbering lyricism, and joined by the core rhythm section of the Gato Loco enterprise, this group is both soothing and infectious, nostalgic and hopeful…. sad and uplifting.

Now, finally, Gato Loco de Bajo is releasing their first full-length album. Signed to Adhyâropa Records, the 9-song record will be released on December 11th, 2026, in both Vinyl and streaming formats.
